So I started watching season 9 of Stargate the other week, and am slowly working my way through it. The guy who replaced Richard Dean Anderson(aka Macgyver aka Jack O’Neill aka the biggest badass ever to walk the planet next to Jack Bauer) just isn’t doing it for me. I’m still enjoying the season, but it just isn’t the same. It’s probably a good thing that they’re closing up shop after 1 more season. Nobody can replace his dry humor. Just thinking about makes me go all teary-eyed.
Here’s to you RDA, I miss you on the show. I’m going to pour one out in your honor.

31|Jan|2007 1I have to agree. It really makes me sad that RDA decided to cut down his role and the new guy tries so hard to be just as good but “different”, and really just fails miserably in my opinion. He definitely does not feel like the leader of SG1.
