So last night, we got a dusting of snow, if that. I’m talking it was a light snow shower for maybe an hour or 2. Enough to dust the rooftops as well as where there’s no grass. I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. Admittedly we don’t get much snow, that’s probably as much as we’ll get all year. Maybe another dusting. Anyway, the crazy thing is the reactions of the people, it’s insane.

  • Public and private schools were called off for the day
  • My girlfriend’s college was closed
  • Grocery stores were absolutely packed with people storing up on the essentials
  • Local news ran over it’s alotted time this morning to give additional coverage
  • Every other commercial on local stations are on how they’re going to provide the best coverage during this “critical and dangerous time”

Insanity I tell you! There is virtually nothing on the ground today, nothing! People are freaking out like they’ve never seen a snowflake before. I’ve lived in the southeast my whole life, but the reactions of some people just kill me. I remember growing up in tennessee we missed 15 schooldays one year because of 2 separate snows I think. These were probably like 2-3 inch snows each.
