Have been having problems with my cable, I have to jiggle it and power cycle my modem to get comcast broadband to work. I reported this problem via online chat with comcast. They agreed that a technician should come out, however, they were unable to open a ticket to schedule a technician due to an outage in my area.... funny thing was I was online chatting with them and they are saying there is an outage... could not convince them to open up a ticket for a repair person...
comcasts policies are just stupid.

[...] The other model, a flat-fee, is working very well for us. It was stressful at first, but the fantastic growth we have been experiencing validates our model. We hired bloggers based on their ability to write interesting and compelling content, not because of their ability to churn out post after post (great for search engines perhaps, but really a shitty solution). We did of course put in certain conditions (you have), but they also meant the stress factor was a lot lower. Our writers knew they would get paid the same, be it with 5 posts in a week or with 50. They also knew that by working harder on each post, by ensuring a higher quality of work, the long-term potential and upside were far better than a post-churning blog. [...]

I know the feeling! This room that serves as my home office is already getting cramped also! We're thinking of turning it into a playroom for the kids (all their toys are already here anyway, so it's practically their playroom). I'm not so sure I can afford it right now, though.

That has to be the worst thing people do... especially when I was using Firefox under Windows, it'd kill my machine... I agree that there should be a standard (maybe an icon or something) for linking to certain file types.
